WHAT IS GRIMSBY GLOWS?

Carve your pumpkins at home. Bring it to the park on event day. Enjoy it glowing alongside hundreds of carved jack-o’-lanterns from our community for one last night! You can also enter your pumpkin into our Carved Pumpkin Contest for a chance to win an awesome prize.

Grimsby Glows is a free, family-friendly community celebration that brings hundreds of locally carved jack-o’-lanterns together along the pathway at Coronation Park.

After Halloween, we invite families, businesses, schools and community organizations to bring their pumpkins to the park for one final glow. Along the pathway, you’ll find hundreds of community-carved pumpkins, seasonal displays, family activities, music, photo opportunities and more!

The pumpkins are the heart of the event, and the glow happens because our community makes it happen.

End off spooky season with goodies and fun!

Delight in light refreshments and snacks, amazing photo opportunities and a visit with our fortune teller. Madam Erica. The Grimsby Public Art Gallery will join to offer activities. Plus live music!

We'll even compost your Halloween pumpkins

When you bring your pumpkin to be displayed in the parade, we will properly compost it for you afterwards because we care about our farmers and our environment. Let's help Mother Earth together!

BRING A PUMPKIN - Carve, Glow, Compost!

Bring your Halloween jack-o’-lantern to the park and we’ll add it to the pathway to glow for one final night (we sustainably compost all pumpkins afterwards!). Drop off your carved pumpkins to our volunteers on event day between 9AM-4PM, in the Grimsby Pool parking lot.
